Privacy Policy

1 Who We Are And What This Policy Covers

SaleTrail LLC ("SaleTrail," "we," "us," or "our") provides inventory, warehouse, fulfillment, and profitability software for live-selling businesses. We also provide the SaleTrail website (saletrail.io) and SaleTrail Campus (campus.saletrail.io), including educational guides, tools, templates, a training course, and communications.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in connection with our website, Campus, communications, and software platform (together, the "Services"). It also explains the choices available to you. Our contact details appear below.

When we handle information about website visitors, subscribers, prospective customers, and our business contacts for our own purposes, we determine how that information is used. Where applicable law uses these terms, we act as a controller or business for that information.

When a business customer supplies information about its buyers, employees, contractors, or other individuals for processing through the platform ("Customer Data"), we generally process it on that customer's behalf and according to its instructions. Where applicable, we act as a processor or service provider. The customer determines its own purposes for that processing. Our customer agreement and any applicable data processing agreement govern that relationship; this policy does not expand our rights to use Customer Data.

2 Information You Provide To Us

Waiting list and walkthrough requests. When you join the waiting list or request a walkthrough on saletrail.io, we collect your first and last name, email address, store or company name (optional), phone number (optional), the selling platforms you choose, and your message (optional).

Campus forms. When you use a Campus form, we collect only what that form asks for:

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, the updates you choose, the page you signed up from, the consent wording version you agreed to, and when you signed up.
  • Email My Plan, worksheets, and kits: your email address, your first name and business name if you provide them, the plan, worksheet, or kit you request, the page you requested it from, the choices you tick, and the date.
  • Course sign-up: your name, your email address, whether you are signing up for yourself or a team, the course, the page you signed up from, and when.

We do not store your IP address with any of these forms.

Account and relationship information. For platform users and business customers, we may process account identifiers, work contact details, organization, assigned role, authentication-related records, support communications, and subscription or invoicing records.

Tools and course progress. Campus calculators run in your browser. We do not receive the numbers you enter unless you submit them to us in a form. Your course progress is saved in your own browser, not on our servers.

Do not include buyer details, employee records, payment card data, or other confidential personal information in general Campus forms or calculators.

3 Information Collected Automatically

Our hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver the Services, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and timestamps, and may keep it in security and error logs. We do not add this information to the records created by our forms.

4 Information Processed For Business Customers

Depending on what a customer supplies and the features it uses, Customer Data may include buyer names or usernames, order and shipment identifiers, delivery details present in imported records or labels, purchased products, transaction records, and customer support or return information. It may also include employee and contractor identifiers, roles, workflow actions, timestamps, productivity records, streamer attribution, and commission-related information.

Packing photos and videos may show workers, shipping labels, package contents, or other information visible in the recording area. We process this information to provide the customer's chosen inventory, fulfillment, reporting, support, and packing-evidence functions.

Customer Data may come from customer uploads, imports, authorized users, connected features where enabled, and records generated as users perform platform workflows. This description does not imply a live integration with any particular marketplace.

The customer controls authorized user access and decides how to use its records. For questions about a seller's orders, workplace monitoring, employee records, or recordings, contact that business first. If you contact us instead, we will direct the request appropriately and assist the customer as required by our agreements and applicable law.

5 How We Use Information

We use information about our own visitors, subscribers, users, and business contacts to respond to requests; manage onboarding and customer relationships; provide accounts, requested resources, and support; administer billing; send requested newsletters and other permitted communications; protect the Services; troubleshoot problems; and meet legal obligations.

We may analyze website and service usage to improve usability and reliability, subject to the choices described in section 7. Use of identifiable Customer Data remains subject to customer instructions and applicable agreements.

6 How We Disclose Information

Service providers. Our websites are hosted by Lovable, and our form records are stored with Supabase. These providers process information only to provide their services to us. Campus does not send emails at this time.

Customer-authorized access and sharing. Customer administrators and authorized users can access information according to their permissions. Customers can export records and share packing media through available sharing features. A person who obtains a public share link may be able to view its content until it expires or is revoked. Downloaded or copied content may remain with the recipient after the link stops working. Customers should share only with intended recipients and use appropriate expiration settings.

Product images. Product images may be publicly accessible, so customers should not upload confidential personal information as product images.

Legal and business purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or establish or defend legal claims. Information may also be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality measures and applicable law.

At your direction. We may disclose information when you request or authorize us to do so, or when a business customer instructs us to disclose its Customer Data.

7 Cookies And Privacy Choices

Essential storage. Our sites save small items in your browser's local storage: your cookie banner choice, and on Campus, your course progress and course sign-up details so the course works. These stay on your device.

Analytics. The cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics. Our sites are built to use Google Analytics only after you accept. Google Analytics is not switched on yet, so no analytics data is sent today. If you decline, no analytics are loaded.

We do not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our sites do not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. You can decline analytics in the cookie banner.

Your browser may let you block or delete cookies and local storage. To change your cookie banner choice, clear this site's stored data in your browser; the banner will appear again on your next visit.

8 Communications And Your Rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary account, security, billing, or service communications. We may keep a limited suppression record to honor your choice.

Depending on where you live, applicable law, and the role in which we process your information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sales, advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. Not every right applies to every person or activity.

Send privacy requests to [email protected]. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, explain any refusal or permitted limitation, and provide applicable appeal instructions. Where an appeal is available, send it to the same contact with "Privacy appeal" in the subject. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also contact the relevant regulator where applicable.

For Customer Data controlled by a seller or employer, direct your request to that business. We assist with those requests as required.

9 Retention

We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, taking into account the nature of the information, the relationship or service involved, customer instructions, legal requirements, security needs, and the establishment or defense of claims. We then delete or deidentify information in accordance with applicable law.

Packing media follows the retention period applicable to the customer's service and settings. Share-link expiration is an access control and is not the same as deleting the underlying media.

10 Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures do not eliminate every risk; no system can guarantee absolute security.

11 Children And Third-Party Services

Our website and Campus are intended for an adult business audience and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Information supplied by a business customer is handled according to section 4.

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern independent processing by Whatnot, TikTok, or other third parties.

12 Changes And Contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the updated version and date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. A policy update does not itself authorize a use of previously collected information that requires separate consent or other legal authorization.
